The Historic town of Wexford, only 5 minutes drive Wexford is famous for its Opera Festival in late October each year. Early booking is advisable. The Opera is in June of 2007 due to a new opera House being built in Wexford Town.

The festival has ben operating for over 50 years.

Apart from the festival there are many fringe events such as art exhibitions  and music recitals.
