Modern Wexford
Kilmore Quay

Kilmore Quay Situated on the Southern Coast of Wexford

is a little rural paradise in Ireland. Rows of neatly thatched cottages provides a strong visual impact on arrival.

These cottages, many over two hundred years old are built with clay, straw and stones. Thatched in straw or reeds, they have hipped gable typical of eastern Ireland.

Predominantly a commercial fishing village, the fleets land regularly in the harbour. The newly constructed 55 - berth marina holds a Blue flag and provides safe berthing and on-shore facilities for all mariners.

Trips to the nearby Saltee Islands & Bird Sanctuary are available on a regular basis through the summer as well

day trips to the Islands.
