My parents and I stayed here and we absolutely loved it. First, Iris is such a great hostess. She is the sweetest women and she was great to talk to, gave us good recommendations (where to go, eat, etc.), and an awesome cook. The rooms are all clean and spacious. It is walking distance to pubs and restaurants. The restaurant Iris recommended, the Bridge Bar, was definitely the best meal we had in Ireland, and the staff was really friendly as well. A short drive to Wexford, which is a nice little town. If you are in the area, the Birchwood House is the best place to stay (easy to find too).

My husband and I and our 3 month old son stayed here for 5 nights. Iris is most welcoming and everything was wonderful. From the extremely comfortable beds (including great travel cot) to the wide range of tasty breakfast options. It was a pleasure staying at Birchwood House. We will be back! Thank you Iris.
